About the Information Centre on Emerging Infectious Diseases in the ASEAN Plus Three Countries!
This information sharing platform is designed to facilitate sharing and exchange of timely information on emerging infectious diseases (EIDs) in the region.
The website aims to provide policymakers, researchers, EID programme managers, the media and civil society the necessary information to help improve health interventions and raise awareness on health-related issues and concerns. It is also intended that the website will provide a venue for discussion on pressing issues related to EIDs.
This website has restricted and public information to cater to the needs of its target audiences. The restricted domain is accessible to the various Focal Points (AEGCD, EID and Communication) of the ASEAN Member States, Plus Three Countries and partners in the region. The public domain that includes the information sources and updates is accessible to the subscribers of the website and the general public.
This website was developed under the auspices of the ASEAN Plus Three Emerging Infectious Diseases Programme managed by the ASEAN Secretariat, and with financial support from the Australian Agency for International Development (AusAID).
The website is under the leadership of the ASEAN Experts Group on Communicable Diseases (AEGCD). The Indonesia Ministry of Health coordinates the development and maintenance of this website, in partnership with the Focal Points for Communication and Information Sharing on EIDs from the ASEAN Plus Three Countries.
