17 photos

The Royal Kingdom of Cambodia is one of the four countries implementing the 10-month project titled “Information Sharing and Prototype IEC Materials Development on Dengue Control and Prevention in Cambodia, Lao PDR, Thailand and Viet Nam” under the ASEAN Plus Three Emerging Infectious Diseases Programme Phase II supported by the Australian Government (AusAID). The project is being implemented in three districts in Takeo Province. Consultations and briefings were made with key government and school officials, students and rural households both at the provincial and community level. An important milestone was achieved in September when the project was launched in the community and had been implemented in full cooperation of the provincial and national governments. In relation to this, surveys on knowledge, attitude and practices; campaign posters distribution; and project monitoring and evaluation were successfully implemented.
